Over the past few weeks, I've been working on the Healthy You 💖 content for my online course. I've been looking for inspiration and guidance from different areas of life and taking the bits that resonate most with me. Thankfully, I haven't had to look too far.
I'm so happy that mindfulness, meditation and yoga are popping up all over the place. It makes me happy that people are starting to see (and reap) the benefits of all its goodness. It clears the mind. It releases old pains and fears. It fuels our body. It gives us courage. It makes us bold.
This week, I thought I'd share a few examples that I've been inspired by:
- A school replaced detention with meditation. See what happens to these kids.
- Max Strom speaks about the global epidemic of anxiety and depression and how our own bodies can breath to heal. I recently had the pleasure of attending his workshop and I've already started implementing his breathing techniques into my life and seeing the benefits. I'll start inspiring others to do the same.
- 10 Important Career Lessons Most People Learn Too Late In Life talks about not sacrificing your health for success or wealth and that happiness is a journey, not a destination. But they're definitely not just limited to careers. These are life lessons we can integrate into our every day, right now.
And finally, I love that Rowena is empowering people to maximise their own wellness through a mindful approach to nutrition. I was sent this link by my friend Charlotte and we've both booked dinner at her Female Entrepreneur Supper Club in November. I'm excited to meet and share my stories with like-minded women.
When I started thinking about how I wanted to integrate yoga and breathing into my business, I wanted to see how others are doing it, too. By creating my mind map above, I created clarity around my vision and it was inevitable that those people, ideas, and guidance started gravitating towards me. Although I'm still in the midst of creating my content, I thought that I'd share the journey of how I'm bringing it all together with you and the people, strategies and insights that the universe is sending my way.
