With 24 years of personal yoga practice and 7 years of teaching experience, Louise is a certified Menopause Yoga teacher and a valued member of Yoga Alliance Professionals. She has accumulated over 600 hours of teacher training, nurturing her passion for curating exquisite yoga retreat experiences in remarkable locations.

Louise's teaching style embodies a modern approach to yoga, emphasising alignment, grace, and accessibility for practitioners of all levels. Through the exploration of breath work and meditation, her classes guide students towards reconnecting with their authentic selves. Louise's ultimate goal is to share the incredible benefits of yoga as an integral part of a woman's health and wellness journey.

Libby Stevenson Menopause Yoga Teacher

Meet Libby.

Libby is a certified Menopause Yoga teacher, speaker and a member of the British Menopause Society. She started doing yoga in her early 50s. The physical, mental and emotional benefits she experienced,  inspired her to complete yoga teacher training in her late 50s and to specialise in yoga for women’s health: from pregnancy to postnatal and menopause. As a result, Libby makes yoga accessible for all bodies and abilities. 

Her mission is to encourage women of all ages to do yoga and to help them understand how the body changes with age. She combines meditation, breathwork, physical postures and hand mudras to improve aspects of health and she suggests natural remedies to promote wellbeing. Her goal is to make every woman’s journey a healthier, more informed and a better one.

29/6 Arrival day from 3pm: Welcome, ice breaker, dinner and introduction to the week + gift bag, night time restorative/ nidra yoga session

20/6 Day 1: Your physical body/ Your menopausal journey - learn about the physical changes menopause can bring; symptoms checklist;  morning wake up yoga; journaling exercise;  evening restorative

1/7 Day 2: Nutrition - discover key foods we need more and less of for optimal health; morning wake up yoga; evening yoga for digestion

2/7 Day 3: Movement - learn about different styles of movement (breath work, face yoga, tapping, asana); morning wake up yoga; evening yin/yang or somatic movement

3/7 Day 4: Sleep - discover keys to a good nights sleep; morning wake up yoga; evening yoga for sleep; yoga nidra

4/7 Day 5: Stress Management - discover simple tools to relieve stress; morning wake up yoga, breath work, meditation; evening yoga for depression + anxiety

5/7 Day 6: Self-care -  face cream, collagen, supplements & other self-care practises; morning wake up yoga, face yoga; evening
6/7 Departure day: gentle breathwork and early morning meditation, breakfast, depart 11am

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Retreat dates:

  • 29 June - 6 July, 2024

  • Check-in time is 3pm. Check-out time is 11am.

Payment Schedule:

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration. 

  • This deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend. 

  • Final payment is due 30 April, 2024.

Late payment fee: 

Any payments made after 30 days prior will be assessed an additional £300 fee.

Cancellation Policy:

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. This policy is strict and firm. 

Cancellations on or before 31 March, 2024, you forfeit the deposit . 

If you have paid in full the remainder of your payment will be refunded to you.

Cancellations on or less than 30 days prior to the retreat, you will forfeit ALL money rendered.

This cancellation policy is strict and firm. We recommend that you purchase cancellation/travel insurance to protect your investment.

FAQs

  • This retreat is for ANY woman in her late 30s or 40s and beyond who may be experiencing perimenopause symptoms or who is in menopause.

  • Yes, this retreat is open to all levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned yogis. Please inform Louise or Libby of any injuries or limitations and we’ll do our best to provide modifications to support all levels.

  • Yes, there are limited spaces for you to bring a spouse or partner. Please contact Louise directly to understand your options.

  • Yes, the hotel rooms and the yoga studios are both air-conditioned.

  • Yes, this may be possible as long as the resort has room. Please enquire BEFORE booking so that we can provide you with availability.
