Louise worked with a small team to research, build and test an online government service: a Basic Disclosure application. Upon successful testing and iteration, to then pass the GDS assessment to become a live service. In addition, Louise interviewed all internal departments at DBS to understand the business process and internal breakdowns in procedures. She also helped to set up the digital lab at DBS and ran multiple educational workshops to teach DBS team members how to design, build and test using agile methodologies and how to run and analyse user testing findings.
The pilot went through a rigorous GDS assessment and was deemed the best design they have seen to go through alpha testing of a GDS service thanks to our strict adherence to the GDS guidelines, when building the service.
